Stumbled across these when I needed to borrow a white marking pencil during a retreat. Was SO impressed I immediately bought some and have been happily using this brand for 10 years. Please, please, don't ever change.

Roxanne Chalk Pencils.

I had to find a pencil sharpener to be able to use the pencil. After I got the pencil sharpened it worked very well on both dark & med colored fabric. I haven't been able to use the iron templates yet. But I am looking forward to using them after the holidays

Not what I thought...

A pencil sharpener is required. Didn't think of that when I ordered these pencils, Yikes! I did manage to get one sharpened though and when I used it on my quilt top this chalk pencil was too hard to see. You can't press hard because it might compromise the fabric. I was expecting to see a sharp line that I could follow then wash out later. My fabric was not black in color and if it hard been these pencils might be more helpful.

Have used many times before. Love using the chalk pencils although they are sometimes hard to find. Started using chalk when working in sewing factory yrs ago. Best to use Thanks for having them.

Best Marking pencils.

I love how these pencils mark my dark fabrics. I am a hand quilter and these pencils keep the marks on my quilt and they come off easily afterwards.
