Quilting Product Description

Use the Sew Steady® Grid Glider to create a slick sewing surface for your Sew Steady® sewing machine extension table. The polyester mat's micro-suction technology secures the mat to your extension table and sewing machine.

Includes a precut hole for feed dogs, 1/4", 1/2" and 5/8" seam allowances, a centering ruler, and 1" grid spacing across the entire mat. Mat size 12" x 20".

    Time saver

    Great product to save time. No need to draw lines for 1/2 square triangles or flying geese. Great also for 1/4” seam guide.

    Sew steady grid.

    It has really helped me to sew straighter seams. The ruler helps me to measure quickly.

    Good value

    I had a Supreme slider before I bought this. I needed to replace it. Since this was significantly lower in price I wanted to try it. I was pleasantly surprised how well it performed. I cut the opening a little larger so I could replace the bobbin without removing the Grid Glider which is what I have to do with the Supreme Slider. Even though I trimmed 2 of the sides it still covered a large area. I have 4 sewing machines and may need to get one for each of them!

    Not worth cost to me

    Hi. The center hole isn't big enough for my machine to allow me to change the bobbin. So I increased the opening, then there were sharp edges that I had to deal with around the center. So I'm using it, but wasn't as nice as I had expected.

    I Love It!

    This mat is every bit as good as I had hoped it would be. The markings and the slickness are very helpful when piecing, and it's even easy to lift the mat up to access my bobbin. I highly recommend this his mat.
