Disappointed

First, if I knew this pattern was made up of 284 half-square triangles, I would have never purchased it. Second, the layout directions were so unclear. My husband and I had to work together for quite sometime to figure out the layout. Directions had errors, and the drawing for the layout could not be deciphered.
