    Bad cuts

Neither of the 2 pieces that were meant to be fussy cut were cut in a way that would allow me to get the pieces needed.

The panel was cut so closely to the design that 3 of the motifs would be significantly off center with one side of the design right at the seam.

The smaller butterfly portion was cut such that it was only possible to cut 4 design elements instead of 6. The design elements above and below had been cut through the middle. If the cut had been adjusted an inch or so up, there would have been no problem.

As a fairly new quilter, this is my first ever kit purchase. I'm hesitant to ever purchase another. Is this typical of kits?
