Here's the fabric you need to make a quilt that's exploding with patriotic pride! The Missouri Star Fireworks Finale Fabric Kit is specially designed to go with the Fireworks Finale sew-along that marks 250 years of America's independence. The bold reds, crisp whites, and brilliant blues in the kit are from the I’ve Got Hue collection by Henry Glass.
Inspired by dazzling fireworks that light up the sky, the quilt features dynamic blocks and pinwheels bursting with movement and energy. An optional Dresden border frames the fireworks with the look of festive buntings. The sew-along has free patterns and tutorials in two size options: a throw (64" x 64") or a queen (90" x 90"). Please note: One kit is needed to make the throw size. Two kits are needed for the queen size.
Kit includes a QR code to access the sew-along free patterns, tutorials, and to join the sew-along Facebook group.

I was so happy when I saw that the quilt kits were back in stock! I do have to admit that I was worried, as others were, about having enough fabric and I had a hard time getting an answer to my concerns. (I've had the kits for a while and didn't want to write the review until I could cut the fabric, so the reassurances weren't on the website before I bought the kits.) But I went ahead and ordered the kits anyhow because I really like red, white and blue quilts and this one is really beautiful! It really looks like a fireworks finale! So kudos to whoever designed this quilt!!
I can assure you that there is indeed enough fabric in two kits to make the queen-sized quilt. I even made some mistakes and still had enough. When cutting the pieces for the Dresden fans, you cut 3 inches off the non-background fabric 10x10 inch precuts. Those strips give you three inch strips to "fix" at least some cutting mistakes. And if you're frugal with some of the other cuts, you'll have some extras too.
Shipping was faster than I expected. And the boxes are a nice plus. Plus having the kits eliminates the guess work of fabric and color selection.
The fabric is soft and the colors are just perfect! I can only hope that I get it finished in time for the Fourth!!
