I think this kit is so beautiful. AND I am so excited to work on it. However there is zero direction as which stitches/floss color go with which flower. Is the pattern available somewhere separate? I watched the video on making the quilting portion which was great but if I do this as one flower a day as it’s designed then I don’t need that video until next year. What I do need is a pattern for the embroidery kit so I can have a beautiful flag stitched over America’s big 2-5-0! Please please...

Do not expect much.

Very poor quality embroidery thread and zero direction. The fabric is thick and not quilt worthy. A disappointing spend.

Embroidery Kit

The embroidery patterns are printed on the fabric and are hard to completely cover with thread. In addition I’ve been told they don’t wash out, meaning some of it will probably show on the finished project. The thread is not labeled or sorted by color, and the whites are very similar shades, so it’s imperative you sort them out before starting. The thread quality is not the best. I am a little disappointed with the kit over all.

Would have given 5 stars if better introductions were given. Even as an advanced embroiderer, I felt more detailed directions could have been given. A larger photo of finished project would have been nice for these old eyes. Skeins of colors, 4/4 blues, 3/3 reds but only 2/3 whites, or at least two of the whites are so close hard to tell apart. Would be nice if each skein was labeled. Other than that I am enjoying this project. I did similar projects 50 years ago for the Bicentennial.

Fun concept- kit quality lacking..

Enjoying the project overall. However the kit components are not at the expected quality. Thread is weak and lower quality (DMC knockoff). Blue printing on cloth is very light and hard to see. Instructions lacking- so maybe not for beginners.. white thread variants missing- MSQC sent silver upon notification (thank you!). Lower price or increase quality…

Great kit!

Love the kit with all the supplies needed. Be aware there are no instructions on how to do each flower. It is left up to you as to the type of stitches and which of the three versions of the color to use. There are instructions on how to do basic stitches. Having said that, I wish the picture was bigger for reference.

Instructions vague

The tools, floss and stamped fabric are good quality. The instructions are lacking. Even though I have used your embroidery kits before, this is the first one that doesn't show how to stitch each flower. I had to take a picture of the finished product, then enlarge each section on my phone to zoom in to the first flower, then guess which stitches I should use.

Really wanted to like this but…. Fabric is too thick. Floss is poor quality and frayed easily going through the fabric. Could not see the blue star field well enough. Would not recommend.

Nice Kit, Needs better instruction

This is a nice kit but you really need stitch instructions or a larger picture of the project done would help. I understand that you can choose any stitch you want but you certainly need better instruction. Conversion number to DMC floss would help. The floss seems a little cheap. Great fabric and notions. I am excited to stitch away....

Great Product

The only reason I gave it a 3 was because it was missing part of the instructions and one thread color. Other than that, I love the design and quality of the product.
