What could be cuter than hats on cats? Our newest Block of the Month is chock full of fancy felines with a habit for haberdashery! Each month, you'll make a banner featuring a fancy feline in a month-appropriate hat, like bunny ears for Easter and a Santa hat for December. Plus, in the first month, you'll get a banner hanger to display your handiwork! Have fun the whole year long with this Banner of the Month!



Designed by Leanne Anderson and Kaytlyn Kuebler of The Whole Country Caboodle exclusively for the Missouri Star Quilt Company, this banner project will send you all of the precuts fusible appliqué shapes, binding, backing, and instructions you need to make 12 cute banners, one for each month.



Also included in the first month's shipment is a door banner hanger, to display each banner as you finish it.

They are cute. Pretty easy. January's had two "years"; 2022 and 2023...obviously I could not use those. I'm doing mine a bit different...but isn't that what we quilters do?

Lots of Fun

This set of 12 cats with a theme for each month of the year is quite fun. The pieces are precut and easy to iron on the background. Machine appliquéing the small pieces was a good skill builder for me. They are really cute and the metal door hanger is perfect with "I ❤︎ CATS". They can be used year after year.

This is fun.

I started receiving these in January. I had a fear of starting them but now that I've started I'm enjoying working on them. The felt or white pieces will stick better if you use a little water or steam on them.

Hat on a Cat Door Banner Kit #1

I received my first kit & thoroughly enjoyed doing it. I was then charged for Kit #2 & Kit #3 and still waiting for them. I called customer service & the lady was very nice & explained that warehouses were being changed so that is why the delay on Kit #2. I think some communication would have been helpful weeks ago explaining the delay. I should not have had to call customer service about this.

Cute project

Not as easy to follow instructions and don't like the melty stabilizer even though I ripped it off the pieces that stayed created a bit of a mess I fixed it but not a friendly product

Like the precut aspect, but there are a lot of layers on this one, so getting it properly placed was a bit of a challenge. Looking forward to the next 11 months!

Great kit

I love these kits. Easy to follow instructions and all the materials you need. My one issue is when I actually receive the kit. Unfortunately the kit for the month doesn’t get delivered until the month is in its last or next to last week! So I get to complete the kit as the month ends!
