Great pattern

The pattern was easy to follow. I bought the pattern on sale. I also purchased the template and it made cutting the charm pack simple. I added more borders to make a blanket as a Christmas gift for my son who's in the Navy.

Grand Old Flag Pattern

I have used the pattern twice. My church quilting group makes quilts for veterans at the local VA Hospital. So I made a lap sized quilt with the 5 inch tumbler template flag as the center of the quilt. Then I made a smaller version of the flag with the mini tumbler template to use as a hanging for my front door. Both were very easy and came out very nice. Several of the ladies in the quilt group have asked to borrow my template to make mini flags of their own.
