Easy and Fun Pattern

This pattern was easy to understand and I had fun making it. Jeannie from MSQ helped me choose a background fabric when I used a jellyroll from Bubble Blues by Robert Kaufman. I used Artisan Batiks gradations in Silver and loved it. Thanks Jeannie! The only thing I would encourage is to spray starch top edges of strips so they don't stretch as you sew each section.

Beautiful quilt! BUT...

I followed the cutting directions and the blocks went together very quickly and easily. But when I went to square each block, the UNFINISHED size was 16", not 16 1/2". My overall quilt is 75" square. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same results.

Looks complicated

This is the easiest block that I have ever done! The pattern is very precise and easy to follow. I love this pattern!

I have made this quilt before and it works up pretty fast and is so beautiful when finished. I want to make another one but for the life of me I could not find where I put the pattern so liked it well enough to buy another pattern.

Now I can try making something with my binding tool

I’m not sure I can follow the pattern (I’m dyslexic so working with patterns isn’t easy) but I really hope this works for me.

Have some new batiks, can't wait to start this pattern. I found the delivery from FedEx to be very slow. Package was at a Kansas distribution center for 6 days, a Massachusetts center for 4 days.
