Small pieces are not my favourite thing!

I would prefer that the pattern say to add a 1.5” WOF cornerstone strip to a 8.5” WOF sashing strip BEFORE cutting some of the sashing strips. It is much easier to sew and then cut than it is to sew on 42 little 1.5” squares. As an experienced quilter, I knew to read the instructions first and then I figured out how many sashing strips to make this way. Also, the cutting instructions for the jellyroll strips have you cut 228 pieces, but tells you that you need 224. I didn’t realize that I had 4...
