Strip butterflies Quilt pattern

Really easy way to make a "butterfly". I gave it only four stars instead of five because a part of the instructions forgot to mention that you needed to make five sashing strips - it only has ONE mentioned.

Really cute butterflies

I haven’t started this pattern. I plan to use the block to make pillows for my great granddaughters for Christmas. The pattern looks easy, I will probably add a black strip between the wings and maybe antennae.

My friend insists that this does not look like butterflies. So, I'm going to make the centers of them black and I think that will pull the two sides together. A little embroidery antenna will help too.
