The only brand I use now.

Dream cotton and Dream Bamboo are the only types of batting I use now. Neither are thick and bulky and leave the patchworked quilt soft after longarm quilting.

Quilter's Dream Batting

I have tried several different brands of batting. The Quilter's Dream is the best I have ever used. It is soft and has no seeds or slubs in it. It comes in several different weights and fibers and I have been really pleased with the quality.

Easy to Work With

I am a beginner level quilter and wrangling large pieces of fabric is challenging to me. This batting is thin, but dense, and keeps its shape as I spread it out for the quilt sandwich. I have easily hand quilted and sewing machine quilted through it. The finished quilts tuck into your body just right!

Dream batting

I haven’t used this batting in a few months. I miss it’s excellent drape and soft touch that the lower priced batting does not have. So I am going back to my #1 choice and have learned it is worth a few more dollars.

Quilters Dream Cotton Request batting

I made the mistake of using 80/20 on my first quilt as I live in central Florida. Way too hot for that! I was advised to try 100 % cotton and the thinnest made. Well, my go to is always Missouri Star and sure enough! They had it! I love Missouri Star because they not only have the biggest selection of anything you’re looking for but the best prices too! This batting is pure cotton and feathery light! Perfect for my Queen Size quilt. I wanted to be sure the quilt wouldn’t be too warm to sleep under year round. I also wanted it to be lightweight enough to wash in my home washing machine. Missouri Star Quilt Company has lots of discounts and deals. Love them!
