What an Illusion this Pattern is!

I have not started cutting this pattern out as I needed to get a rag quilt finished first. But I now have all my yardage and that gray that makes the shadows form. I love this pattern because my eyes tell me it is 3D but my mind knows it is 2D. Needless to say I am excited to get started.
