Quilting Product Description

Place on your sewing machine to make sewing diagonal seams easy with not marking lines on the fabric first. It is placed in front of the feed dogs of the sewing machine with the red stitching line in line with the needle. The black lines represent a perfect 1/4" seam allowance, which helps guide fabric. Make HST's without marking lines and helpful for beginners learning to sew and keeping long strips of fabric straight. Tape is strong, thin, and removes cleanly. Remove it after each project to prevent residue build up.

I love this tape (and don’t be scammed by fake ones on Amazon.

I have this on all my machines and a roll stored with each. It lasts longer on my front loading Berninas than on my top loading Babylock Sofia in the RV. So mileage may vary ;)

How did I quilt before?

I have struggled for an accurate 1/4 inch seam and avoided triangles. This tape has solved both those problems. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Sewing using Diagonal Seam Tape on my sewing machine.

I like using the Diagonal Seam Tape much better than using the markings on my sewing machine. The tape lines are easier to see and sewing 1/4 inch seam allowance is more accurate.

Tape

I’ve always led used another tape that I ran my seam down the edge but this has three lines that I can use and I love it.

Speeds Snowballing squares

I love this tape and have used it for multiple projects, especially the Missouri Star’s Friendship quilt Pattern. I recently purchased multiple rolls of this diagonal seam tape to teach some fellow church members, who have recently taken up quilting, how to speed the snowballing process. First photo is simple smal 1/2 square triangles. Second is the star rom the Friendship quilt.

Great tool for accurate quilting

The tape is easily applied to the sewing machine bed. Great guide for 1/4 in seams required in most quilting. Easy to set up, and great because you can choose the length of tape for your convenience in feeding fabric to create accurate seams. I have seen this tape in many of the video's I watch on Missouri star. It sticks well to the machine and does not move unless you remove it yourself. Great tool for quilting.

Seam Tape Helps With Consistency

I have a habit of using my sewing foot as my ¼” guide. But that is not always the case. I have come to realize that when I use another sewing machine that isn’t mine, all sewing feet are not the same! I assumed that all sewing feet were a standard ¼ inch but that is not so! I discovered this when I was using a friend’s sewing machine for a quilt top and the finished rows did not match up with the rows I had made with my personal sewing machine at home. So, when I was sewing the rows together,...

Diagonal seam tape

I love this product so much! It's great for lining up my seams. I love using it when I'm stitching odd angles. Simply line up the intersection with the center line and you have a perfect quarter inch seam allowance.
