Perfect fabric for a special quilt

This fabric was just what I was looking for to make a Piece of Cake quilt. The fabric is good quality and the colors vibrant. The quilt is for my SIL's 80th birthday and will have the names and birthdates of her grandchildren embroidered in the blocks. I'm using a different fabric for the embroidery. I'm just getting started, so I haven't sewn the blocks together yet.

Perfect for my quilt project

I kept going back to look once again at the Snips Of Color. I just smile when I look at it. I finely decided I was not going to let it get away from me and purchased it. It reminds me of the ticket tape parades in New York City I saw in the movies growing up! I am still enjoying it as is but soon I will be sewing up a quilt with it.
