Not the best for me

It seems to work ok but it is very tiny and I needed more light than it produces and a bigger magnifying area. And no place to clip it to my sewing area and it's too light weight to to hold the light and magnifying piece up with the base only. A bad purchase for me. It cost more to return it than it cost initially.

I think there are better solutions out there for what I needed. The magnifying glass is a bit too small and heavy so it doesnt stay in place well and the width of vision is not enough for embroidery work.

Flexible Light

I love this light for adding extra light when crafting. After recently having surgery, I used it as a "Headlight" on my walker so I didn't need to light the whole room when moving around at night. Helpful too for searching in my overnight bag to find items hiding in the bottom. I can see using it as a flashlight too when making repairs around the house. It's really a great tool.

PERFECT

I figure this light/magnifier is for close handwork. I am a quilter so don't need it for close handwork. I find it's great for the Dotz pictures I am addicted to. My friends in craft club are jealous!

As one ages it is great to have a tool to see better. This dual light and magnifier helps to read tiny instruction fonts and brighten the area being worked on while being lightweight. Very useful!

Great addition to my sewing table!

Love the magnifying glass---it helps when I have to take out stitches, particularly when the thread matches the fabric. The only drawback for me is the "arms" don't seem strong enough.
