Quilting Product Description

Easily press your blocks with this high-density 100% felted wool mat. Effectively presses both sides at once, holding the heat. The texture of the wool also stops fabrics from shifting so there is no distortion when pressing. Works with pressing embroidery projects as well as blocking knitted projects by pinning them directly to the mat.

Mat is 1/2" thick

    This is my second one.

    I find that the wool pressing mat will return the heat from the iron better than a regular ironing board cover. Consequently, when pressing seams and using a clapper to set, the seams will stay flat and look amazing. I wish I could find a very large one for pressing yardage before cutting and for final pressing the quilt top before taking it to the long-armer. I even take this with me to quilting retreats. It’s a great tool to have in your quilting arsenal.

    Wool Pressing g Mat

    A really good size to keep next to machine when sewing has lots of seams that need to be pressed before moving g on to the next step.
