To begin you'll need one packages of 10" print squares and one roll of 1 1/2" background strips as well as just under two yards of background fabric. What a quilting sensation!

How beautiful it is

I made one sample block using the medium octagon and decided to try the same pattern using the small octagon template. I think the small octagon will be the basis for a raffle quilt that I will make using the Radiance fabric or colors that reflect autumn.

I did not realize until I received the pattern that a template is needed to make the quilt. I don't want to buy the plastic template, and would appreciate a drawing of the template shape with the pattern so I can make my own, but a drawing is not included in the pattern.
