Super nice mat.

I purchased this product preparing to learn EPP quilting. Its very nice and im sure i will use it often. Its bigger than I expected but thats fine. This size is not good for travel tho. It does slide around on my table a little. However even with the sliding around a tiny bit, I would recommend and buy this again.

Not as stable as one might wish

The rotating cutting mat turns so smoothly that it is rather unstable. It doesn't seem like a safe surface if you are cutting more than one layer and exerting significant pressure on your ruler and rotary cutter. It was an expensive purchase and I would have hoped that it would be sturdier. It is very good to use for glue basting English paper piecing or for fussy cutting.

Rotating mat

I really like it! It sits level and rotates smoothly. It doesn’t wobble and I can cut all the way to the edge without a problem.

Spins freely!

I like my Sue Saley Design rotating map because it spins very easily. It is taking some time to learn to keep it from spinning too easily. It is very sturdy and after using it a while the top is in nice condition. My last rotating mat was so hard to spin it was useless.

I’ve a green rotating mat for years, but it’s awkward & doesn’t rotate smoothly. This one is really great. It rotates smoothly & makes squaring up much easier. Even better, I got it on a daily deal.
