Desk and Lap Embroidery Stand with 7" Clamp

I called into customer service originally rather than write a review. While I love the adjustable arm and ability to swivel my work from front to back I found the following issues and I called customer service about tohem to recommend a little redesign. 1. I am only 5’2” and the length of the board when using on my lap was too long. I cut off about 3” to make it work for me. 2. One of the reasons I ordered it was the 7” Clamp. This sturdy little frame is like having another set of hands. It is easy to put together, I like using it in my lap. It’s especially nice to be able to flip the frame over to get to the back. I wasted a lot of money on frames from the ‘big online place’, I wish I had just purchased this one to begin with and saved money while getting an excellent frame.

Wonderful tool to hold embroidery without using hands. Easily assembled and sturdy

First off it was hard to assemble. The hands in the video obstructed the view and some of my pieces were different than described. The bolts don’t hold well so I’m constantly having to retighten them. It’s barely holds the hoop I use which is a standard Clovis hoop. The return policy is that it has to be unopened and, of course, I didn’t know about the problems until I opened it.
