One step further

I loved this pattern, once I saw the video I just had to try it. This is a baby quilt size, using up half a jelly roll I had left over plus some yardage for the sashing and white corners. Some of my strips were gradiated colors, which made it a bit harder. Mostly I just wanted to see if I could make the colors run through the whole quilt. It was fun!

My best experience

This has been delightful to work on. I was a bit intimidated to start but I didn't need to be. One hint: When designing each block label each white block as, #1, A,B,C. Place a pin along the sewing side of it's mate and move on to all four white squares. Number the unused pieces accordingly. See the units in a chain. It is a snap to reassemble the block.

Went together like a dream!

This pattern is well written and quilt went together like a dream. Can adapt the pattern to change size very easily. I made it for a baby gift but wanted it bigger than crib size so I made it 5x6 blocks, approx. 54"x 65" finished. Have about 1/2 the jelly roll left (Flower Garden by Riley Blake) This pattern would be so cute in Christmas fabrics! I might try a table runner too.😊

Fun and easy

I used this pattern and made two baby quilts. It was quick and easy. Of course I made the quilts smaller.

Dreaming of emulating the BLOCK Magazine colors

This quilt looks totally different in BLOCK (Early winter vol 4 issue6)magazine in rich shades of burgundy, browns/tans,rusty orange from "Atelier de France" by French General for Moda Fabrics. The overall effect is an alluring plaid that I want to emulate since I cannot find the same fabrics.

Love your products

All I can say is I'm so glad you are located far away from my house as I would be at the store all the time. Lol I love your patterns and fabric. As far as I'm concern you are the best quilt fabric store.
