When you reach an obstacle, what do you do? Well, don't just stand there looking at it! Go right around it and keep on moving. This quilt is a quick strip-pieced pattern with fun little quilt blocks to break up the design and add interest. Get started with a roll of your favorite 2 1/2" strips, 1 yard of background fabric, and 1/4 yard of contrasting fabric and hit the road!
Finished size: 61" x 87" Quilt pattern for 2.5" strips.
I have 2 versions of this pattern up on my design walls, minus their borders. When my guild comes to visit, they always comment on these quilt patterns.

Solved the question
I am delighted with the pattern. Granted I have beginner status as a quilter, but I could not figure out how the insets went into the quilt. This problem solved the problem.

Roadblock quilt pattern.
Can't wait to put fabric together for that pattern. Will be sure to post photo once complete. Have 2 UFO's I need to finish first.😁
