Great Beginner Project!

Simple and fun! I'm new to quilting and this pattern goes together quickly and doesn't need a binding! I made a Christmas table runner for my mother and then one for myself! I appreciated the tutorial video online that I could refer to as needed.

Only thing I didn’t like was that pattern was just a piece of paper that was not wrapped in a clear zipped envelope to keep it nice. The patten was nice though.

Fun and Quick runner

These Zig Zag runners make excellent gifts. I found using the pattern, along with the free tutorial, was the best way to get great results. I've made so many I don't even need to refer to the pattern anymore. I usually make mine with all but 5 charm squares from the pack. I use the extra charm squares, plus some scraps from my stash, to make 4 mug rugs that are 5x7 unfinished.
