Essential tool for every project

I'm using it for ripping seams out more often than I'd like to admit. I'm currently working on a Boxy Tote, a By Annie bag, and an appliqué quilt I started 3 years ago. I sew in 4 different rooms of my house, and I keep supplies in all of them, so I don't just use one seam ripper at a time. I use whichever seam ripper is handy at the time. Exactly!

Very Pleased

I bought the seam ripper a while back and the tip that came in it was a bit dull so when I saw these on sale I took a chance and purchased 3 so I would have backups for awhile. I was quite pleased with the replacement tips and they were nice and sharp. So glad I purchased extras.

While these are super sharp, they do dull rather quickly; however, the replacements are inexpensive.

The MSQC seam ripper is my favorite of all the seam rippers I have “accumulated” over the years. It’s easy to hold and the idea that the tips can be replaced is wonderful! I bought more tips when they were on sale so I would always have one when I needed it.

The tips are small but mighty, and the cutter is very sharp. It stays sharp quite a while. I use it at least once a week - maybe more. I've only ever changed out one, but wanted to be prepared. Easily my favorite seam ripper.

I absolutely love the actual seam ripper and thought it was getting dull, so I ordered the replacement—I am SO happy I had the option to do this because I so hate wasting plastic!. Well, before I received the replacement, I realized the ripper's "blade" was gunked with glue from using double-sided tape. I cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol, and lo and behold!, it is as sharp as ever! So I am confident that when I do have to use the replacement, it'll be just as excellent as the original!

I love that the business end is magnetized to stay in place while using, then when it needs replacing, just pop it out and pop in a new head! Brilliant!
