Great Grip!

Ok, when I trim the fabric first to get a straight edge and then would have to rotate it to cut with my right hand, what a pain. This Gypsy grip lets me keep the fabric in place and I can cut left handed as well. That's a real plus. Highly recommend. I of course prefer cutting with my right hand, and even so, it's nice to have that firm grip so my ruler doesn't slip.

BEST gripper ever!

LOVE this gripper. I had purchased a gripper at a quilt fare previously and was very disappointed. No matter how I tried to apply it to various rulers, it would not stick and merely messed up my cuts. I watched the gals at "Quilt Town" MSQC use this one and decided to give it a try. AMAZING! It sticks securely to my ruler and holds my fabric tight for a PERFECT cut every time!

Wish I had purchased one of these grippers sooner for my long ruler. I'm no longer having problems keeping my ruler straight when cutting longer pieces of fabric.

I have avoided this product for years even though the sewing store I frequent all the time has them. I finally decided to give it a try and wow I didn't know what I was missing. Big fan! What a helpful little tool. Thanks to the control I now have I'm able to cut the material without the ruler, yes even the ones that have the little non-slip dots on them, to not slip, Highly recommend.

Difficult to see grids due to size, suction doesn’t stay very long but is helpful for large fabric cuts

Holds on to the ruler for awhile then needs to be reset. Doesn’t work any better than the $3 one I bought at the hardware store.

I love the idea of this and using it although does not really work better than laying my arm over the fabric to stop sliding of fabric while cutting. I just like using it more than my arm! It often comes off my ruler though and that’s frustrating! Gypsy gripper does not grip well for me, thus 3 stars.
