You won't believe how easily these seemingly complex blocks come together. To begin you'll need one roll of 2 1/2" print strips along with one roll of 2 1/2" background strips and 1 1/2 yards each for the inner and outer borders. It's absolutely spoolish!

Disappointed

The pattern itself I love, however the quality of the printed pattern was very disappointing. The type is light and really small and the bottoms of the pages weren't cut straight. I realize I only paid 5 dollars for this but I have grown to expect more from my favorite quilter. And having to pay $5.00 for shipping wasn't great either. I would have gotten it faster and at less cost had USPS been used. So I am torn. Would I recommend the design, yes, purchasing the printed pattern no

I errored on the spools instructions.

So I pulled out my seam ripper on the "spools" step. I did not fully understand the " 2 pairs of identical" . When cutting, I get 6. Looking at the pattern photo, I should need 8. Or else I deviate from the image. Let's see if final quilt looks good.

How can any quilter resist quilts that contain spools and stars. I have been wanting to make a spool quilt and this one combines two of my favorite blocks. Another stash buster in my opinon. Missouri Star -you rock as far as quilts go.
