Who said sashing can't be the star of the show? In this dazzling quilt design, the sashing absolutely sparkles! From pinwheels to flying geese and chevrons to squares on point with a fabulous half-square triangle border, the unique sashing is what makes this quilt special. To begin you'll need one package of 10" print squares, just under two yards of red fabric, a bit more than two yards of cream fabric, and 1 1/2 yards of fabric to finish up the border.

1/2 Sq triangle sashing

Love the different sashing in this pattern. I plan to use it often. 1st - as it is and then pick one of the sashings to repeat every row in another quilts. I like that the measurements are already figured out to fit the layer cake. Cuz I really like layer cakes !
