Looks difficult but is actually a breeze

When making this quilt, I thought at first that it would be difficult but if one uses the suggested precuts and the rulers mentioned, the quilt is a breeze to do. One caution, be careful about placement of the pieces. I made a template of the block layout to keep my brain functioning correctly.

Beautiful lace quilt design

I'm designing something in my mind, and it's in my stash for now. I like the delicate weave and how the inner and outer portions of the triangles weave in and out, creating the lace portion. The center 5" square of triangles will be replaced with an embroidered flower. The triangles will be green (Kona's color of the year) and the background is white. This is the most beautiful pattern and so totally different appearance if the white fabric is changed for a design fabric. I saw 2 videos one by JENNYand the other by MITSY and they look so different. I just love all the possibilities of what you can do with these patterns.

Nice design

Making this as I write this. Easy to follow pattern and love the design. Time consuming to assemble. Using a jelly roll but not sure if I like each block a different color. Will have to wait and see when I go to put the quilt together.
