Elephant abstractions pattern

I think this pattern for paper piecing was easy to read, challenging to complete in a timely matter, yet it was compelling to accomplish. I choose to use different colors to brighten up the hanging. I still need to sandwich and quilt it. It took approximately 60 hours of work.

Majestic animal pattern

The directions were were clear and precise. I choose different colors to make it my own. I enjoyed doing this pattern, so much I made one wall hanging and one bedspread. The second one is not complete yet,still doing some stitching in its ears. I tried to make the second one colors of a monarch going through its 3 stages of life, chrysalis, caterpillar, monarch.
