Ticker Tape pattern

What a blast it was to make this quilt. I used Pura Vida strips, which I had in my fabric closet and was waiting for the perfect project to use it in. I always make two quilts from a pattern I enjoy. Look forward to making this again in a different color scheme.

Such a fun pattern

Loved putting these blocks together. Instructions very clear. Used bright colors for the ticker tape and it really made the black and white hour glass pattern pop! Now to sew all the rows together.

It was a wonderful use of colour and I just breezed along and I love it….now to get to the longarm! I can’t do the rest of it because my old arms and legs can’t take it!

Interesting pattern

I was not in the mood to make that large strip set. So I am currently making this pattern by cutting three inch strips from 10 inch layer cake squares for the centers. Makes a quick and easy 6.5 block. We shall see how well I like it when it's finished.
