Do be careful with these blocks. They will not fit across the length of the quilt correctly unless you trim them down significantly before stitching together in a row. You can see from my photo that 9 little house blocks with careful 1/4" seams and following along with pattern and tutorial can get 'cha in trouble. I may have to eliminate a tiny house and add a Christmas tree. But, there is a first time for everything. All other aspects of MSQC are excellent.

The cottage stars table runner is adorable. I love star patterns and the rows of cottages are really quaint.

I just finished making this yesterday, as a housewarming gift for my sister. It turned out great using vibrant Whimsical Wings by Island Batiks, plus a few extra scraps of blue batiks. I quilted using stitch-in-the-ditch, which made the back side look pretty too, because of the wonky stars. By the way, the stars aren't just wonky, they're RANDOM wonky. I have a little problem with random :) but managed to embrace it.

Oh! I’m so happy that I bought this Pattern. I made this pattern for my Grandaughter. I’m giving it to them a little later for her Birthday. I totally had fun making this table Runner. Thanks. I’m also happy that I am now receiving MSQ Daily Deals. Thank you.
