So far I am only 2 blocks behind! Haha! But I love the colors and patterns- also the great quality of these fabrics. I am having fun seeing this project & learning new things along the way. I can’t wait to get it all put together!

Block 2

The measurements were very very tight. I BARELY ended up with the blocks 9 1/2 inches square. If fact they are almost an eighth of an inch short all around. And I took bare 1/4 inch seams. I’ll make it work. But it is frustrating. I cannot say that I am an expert seamstress, but I have made many many quilts. I would say I am at least better than intermediate.

Marvelous Lockwood Manor BOM

I loved the Lockwood Manor Block of the Month immensely. I looked forward each month for my package from Missouri Star Quilt Company and I would immediately tear open my package so I could begin I’m 82 and have been quilting since I was 16. My mother was a quilter and she quilted until she was about 105 and all of the quilts were hand quilted, I do both. These BOM kits from Missouri Star are wonderful and I already have another one to start in the fall. Good job MSQC.
