Welcome to Day 7 of our 10 Days of Quilter’s Daily Deals – a special celebration of our famous Daily Deals during National Quilting Month. Each day spotlights a new offer you won’t want to miss!
There’s a clever old saying that goes like this: "Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away.” It’s a beautiful sentiment, but in honor of our celebration of the Quilter’s Daily Deal, I have a few adjustments: If you must lie, why not lie under a cozy quilt? If you must steal, why not steal away to your quilting table? If you must cheat, why not use a lovely piece of cheater cloth? And if you must drink, well… just don’t drink and sew! You’re working with SHARP stuff, folks! Today’s Deal is sometimes called “cheater cloth,” yardage with a pieced-look print. I actually love to keep some on hand because you never know when you’re going to need an emergency quilt, and they make such cute prints these days. Plus, it’s a fabulous way to back a quilt to make it reversible. This 3-Yard Cut of Hexagon Multi Yardage is from the Aunt Grace Goes Scrappy collection, a 1930s reproduction collection by Judie Rothermel for Marcus Fabrics. Bright orange, lime, yellow, and pink mix perfectly with red, white, and blue to make some lovely vintage-style sewing projects! 3-Yard Cut 100% Cotton 44"/45" Wide
