My error

While I like the quickness and ease of this block, I should have checked online for the pattern before ordering. This pattern is offered for free on numerous websites. I need to be more aware from now on and check the Internet.

Cute idea but instructions were lacking

Bought this pattern because we all love layer cake quilts and is super easy. There are very great instructions in this guide for basic quilting and very detailed instructions on how to sew the blocks. There however was nothing but a diagram to do the borders. No cutting instructions or information beyond a project list. Very glad I’m an experienced quilter but that means the 20 page booklet was pretty much full of information that was redundant.
