Totally Tropical

I used this jelly roll with the Kona cotton Mermaid Shores charm pack to make a quilt for a friend who lives on Oahu. The combination of botanical and ocean themed batiks is wonderful! Since the batiks are very brightly colored with intricate prints, I chose to use solids as the center squares. I love how it turned out!

I purchased these for the Bali Star Wedding Ring quilt. I have not started the project yet but the colors are great and I am ready to get with it!
