Quilter's End of Bolt Box

I’d never ordered an unknown box of end of fabric bolts box before… it was like a magic box of endless possibilities. I’ve already used pieces in two different quilts, and am quite pleased with how they turned out! The scrappy quilt was made with coordinated colors used from the Bolt-box, and some fabric I already had. The themed quilt needed some binding and coordinated corner 2 1/2” setting blocks for sash (pulled from bolt box, too) and both added to the quilt’s themes wonderfully well!...

Box was not packaged well. No plastic wrap. Some fabric was just tossed in. Only a tiny bit over 17 yds. Ad says closer to 20yds. (3 yards difference is a lot) youtube videos is what sold me on purchasing. I was a bit disappointed...this is how.my box arrived. Not what I had seen in videos.

I have purchased several of these boxes and never been disappointed. This time the box was probably 2/3 full, a lot of batiks, a third piece of Cat in the Hat fabric and the rest of the fabric just didn’t feel like the quality quilting fabrics I usually receive. I will not be purchasing this again, the value and quality of the fabrics received was not equal to the price paid.

I purchased one last year & loved it. This time athough my box contained many batiks. They were all the ones that had already been on sale & not sold. The writeup says 20 yards of fabric. This latest box was disappointing. My box arrived only three quarters full. So I measured & totaled my cuts. It was 18 yards in total of a bunch of nothing special. My feeling this time was disappointed and short changed.

This is the third time I have ordered the mystery box. This box didn’t seem the same. In the past the fabric came wrapped in a plastic bag. Which I appreciated incase the box got damaged. Not this time. Also when I opened the box it wasn’t packed the same way. The fabric wasn’t folded neatly like the previous boxes it was almost thrown in th box. I wondered if it was a box that someone returned and was just sent out again. I guess I have just been spoiled by your past boxes. Please don’t get me...

This is the 3rd end of bolt box I have purchased from Missouri Star. The first two boxes were jammed packed with a wide variety of material. The 3rd box not so much. The box was not fully filled and the variety just was not there. I have noticed on You Tube that others had the same issue with the most recent end of bolt sale box.

Had 16 fabric pieces of holiday/childrens fabrics included, which I had no use of at all, so I threw them away. Several other fabric pieces had duplicates of the same thing, and I thought each cut would be from a different fabric bolt. All-in-all I was very disappointed with the "surprise" fabric I received. I won't be ordering another end of bolt box. So sad.

I understand the nature of these things. What people like is different. I guess I was hoping for some nice fabrics that are the designer ones I see but can't usually splurge on. What I received was a bunch of Essentials fabrics that were rather lackluster. There were about 5 pieces of nice fabric but obviously that's not what I was hoping for. Will I try it again? I'm not sure, maybe just to confirm my suspicions that these are not actually end of bolt but poor sellers with a few legit end of...

The box did not contain 20 yards of fabric. Many of the fabrics were polyester blends. Not suitable for quilting. I am disappointed.

No variety of fabrics . Several were duplicates. Some were fat quarter size. One strip of fabric was barely 6 inches wide and cut horribly. No holiday fabric prints at all. I'm so disappointed.
