Adorable pattern, but one small complaint

I enjoyed working on this quilt, and I think the final product is adorable! I wish this pattern was more conscientious of fabric waste. I was left with lots of crumbs and small scraps at the end; if the instructions for cutting the fabric were altered, I would have had larger, more usable scraps left over.
