I liked the idea that it would be faster to prepare a lot of sashing and binding strips..... and even though it was, somewhat, I still had to give it a two star rating.
The Major, Major, issue I had. was that I got a lot of unraveling of edge threads. With the Binding Eaze tool, I got unraveling, a lot of unraveling, across the entire strip edges as I slide it through.
Another issue I came across, is that you need to keep the fold of the fabric against or next to the bottom of the 'belt buckles'. If the fabric moved up and touched the top edge of the 'belt buckle' would crease or fold over and catch the strip.
Also, even though my iron is heavy, pulling the fabric under it, would move the iron in the Binding Eaze a little at a time, so I needed to reset my iron so that the widest part of the iron plate was where the fabric would go through the Binding Eaze.
Plus, a lot of the newer irons have auto shut-off, so I still had to repeatedly pick up my iron to turn it back on and then get situated back to where I was starting the fold to slide it through again.
Since I have it, I will probably just use it with fabric that is more tightly woven and had numerous long strips to do. Truthfully, it really isn't worth the price in the time it saves.
