BLOCK Magazine 2024 Volume 11 Issue 1

Love my Block magazine. I have been getting it since the first year. Many times the issue comes just before I start a project included in the magazine. I love the smaller project ideas. I am going to make Squirrel in a cage next. The table runner would be great for scraps. I also love that they use other color ways in the magazine and in the video. Quilt patterns can look very different using alternate color ways and fabric. Here is a picture of my Confetti Hearts made using this magazine.

Really enjoy receiving these books. It’s almost like you are reading my mind :). You have complete instructions for gifts that I am thinking of making . The books are very inspiring . I get a lot of ideas and confidence :) to attempt making your awesome quilts.. this month I will be making the handbags and some pillows. Already looking forward to the next issue.

I enjoy the variety of projects in each edition. I've made several, and was inspired by one to create my own pattern (a first for me) for a wall hanging (pictured). The instructions are easy to follow and fun to create. I love this magazine.

I have been enjoying this volume of Block Magazine. There is so much to look at, take in and plan on doing in the near future. I love that everything that is offered comes with the best directions for how to get a project started and completed. I also enjoy meeting those who help put together the projects. It makes it feel like I’m together “with” a group working on similar projects. This is a photo of my most recent quilt project. I had seen something similar and knew I had the right fabrics...

Loved it - had already ordered the embroidery wildflowers kit ! Never embroidered before but between the block magazine and tutorial I can’t wait to get started . That’s what I love most about MSQC .

I am enjoying some of the new elements of the Block Magazine. I would still like more variety in the quilt patterns featured each month. Last quarters magazine had a pattern I am trying, but this month nothing grabbed me. I know we quilters can be fickle. Keep up the good work. You can't please everyone all the time, but your desire for excellence in this magazine is so evident. (I've included a picture of an applique kit I purchase from MS and completed.)

It brought back memories of my younger self in the 60's & 70's when I used to embroider everything from jeans to pictures to frame. I ended up finishing the negative space on a bed runner. Just what it needed! Thanks for the idea!

I enjoy going thru all of the books. And find new projects to create.

I love it, as usual. I am currently making a version of the “Squirrel in a Cage” pattern.

I love all of them have every issue. I don’t do embroidery but love to see what they look like
