2. Skein size matters. Who needs a massive skein to work 3 rows of color before moving onto the next one? Not you, not with this yarn. It's nice to have just enough without a massive backlog of extra yarn. Check your pattern to be sure.
3. Making socks? Pick 2 balls and you'll have enough to knit or crochet most patterns. Just remember to hand wash them to prevent felting (shrinking the yarn).
