This totally claw-some quilt is all about our favorite felines. Nestled snugly in their favorite spots, these cute patterned cats gaze out through a grid of windowpane squares. To start, you'll need one package of 10" print squares, 1/4 yard of accent fabric, 1 1/2 yards of black fabric, and just under a yard of both light and dark background fabric. You'll want to stitch it up right meow!

Cats
I made the Cats in the Window pattern for my neighbor whose three cats sit in the window facing my house. The pattern was easy to follow and went together quickly as others have said. I scaled it down a bit to 20 blocks rather than 25. I think she will love it.

Absolutely “Paw-some”
I made this quilt for my veterinarian son and daughter-in-law. Their cat Medli loved it, too. The pattern was simple and easy to follow. A great quilt for any cat lover.

Good results!
I think it is wise to cut and complete one before working on all of them at one time. The sample saved me lots of errors. I am not a professional quilt maker but it is my hobby after retirement. It is not finished, so in a month ask for a picture. Good directions but could use some simplification. Not a criticism, just a thought. Thank you for asking.

Cute Cats
I have a nephew who wants a cat quilt for Christmas and saw this pattern. I haven't used it yet but I did watch your You Tube video which makes the pattern simple to follow. Thanks so much for your easy instructions. I wasn't sure how to do the "mitered corner" on the window - never gave a thought to using a half square triangle for it.

Cats in The Window Quilt Pattern by MSQC
I’m currently working on this pattern as a gift. My suggestion to anyone who purchases this pattern would be to view the Triple Play MSQC Video and watch Jenny Doan make this block. To simplify the process of making 25 blocks, I found chain piecing worked well. I think any cat lover in your family would love this pattern.
