Cordminder

The cord minder is made of plastic so it’s light weight and makes a bit of noise as the cord goes across the spool and retracts. It works okay in that it keeps the iron cord up and out of the way but the weight that keeps the cord taut keeps falling off. The spring is not strong enough to hold on to the cord. It’s fine for now but I wouldn’t recommend it. If I see one made of different material I may switch. Just so you know.

Enjoy not having to constantly adjust the cord on my iron !

Only gave four stars because I don’t like the sound of the cord running over the spool. Might try some WD-40 to help with that. Does a great job of keeping cord out of the way.

Took care of the cord always dragging into whatever I was ironing. Happy day! Cord free ironing!

Exactly what I needed for my ironing board. The weight clip is weak and falls off easily, quick fix is to wrap a rubber band around it;)

Not bad but feel it’s a little jerky when moving the iron forward. Not sure where to put the weighted clip because the spring isn’t that strong and falls off easily.

I really like this product, although the weight does fall off very easily. I purchased a strong bag clip and tied a 2 in. Washer to it and works perfect.

I have used the Cordminder for years and love that it keeps my iron’s cord up off my fabric. I do use a rubber band on the weight to keep it on the cord itself because the spring wasn’t strong enough to keep it attached - but that solved that problem for me. I can’t be without this product in my sewing room!
