Quilting Product Description

This 1/2" x 15" seam marking tool is long enough to mark the diagonal of a 10" square. Mark through the slotted center with any mechanical pencil and sew 1/4" on each side of the tool. Or mark the sewing line by drawing on both outside edges. The exclusive grip holds the tool in place while marking.

So much easier!

I've always struggled to mark, sew, and cut a precise diagonal line on two squares of fabric to make half (or quarter) square triangles. Drawing one line and keeping a consistent seam exactly 1/4" away is not always fun. This tool eliminates the wobbly seams and makes cutting the sections apart much easier and quicker. I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it.

I am currently making the sea glass quilt (thank you for the tutorial) and this tool makes it so easy to accurately get the sewing lines on those diagonals. Great grip, accurate and so time saving.

It makes half-triangles easy to draw that whole line on a 10 inch cut.

I use it all the time. If I mark all three lines I even have a sewing guide. It's a little more than 10" so it helps with even bigger pieces.
