Fifty Year Redo

My husband and I made a large blue jean quilt together 50 years ago. It is still getting packed for camping trips but it is heavy and smelling like cleaning fluid. (It is too heavy for our washing machine.) I am making another “denim” quilt with this pattern using denim-colored quilting cottons. I don’t worry about using a quilt like this on the ground at soccer games or inside our camping tent. I like the idea of piecing big squares, too.
