Easy Circle Cut Ruler

Very easy to use, made perfect circles for me.

Natalie's video on the Cherio quilt made me consider this purchase. It is a thick template and that is good. The many half circle channels would make it flimsy otherwise. I used my olfa (45mm) rotary cutter and as long as I cut slowly all was OK. My dritz cutter with the safety shield that slips back as you cut does not work with this template. The shark applicutter is too shallow and cannot reach the fabric. (a great tool, just not here) I have made sample circles successfully. My other issue...

Perfect for most quilting purposes as it adds the 1/4" seam allowance to your circle for your applique' or joining needs. Just be aware before you purchase this that this is the case and that the 2", 3", 4" etc. markings do not result in a true 2", 3", 4", etc. diameter cut circle.

I bought this in my debut as a quilter and it was useful... however it is a rather fussy tool; I find it a bit awkward. I ended up buying one of those rotary circle cutting tool for crafts that cut 360° around a central point, without the blade ever touching a ruler. I find it much more precise - and user friendly.

So glad to have this in my tool stash. Have not used it yet but am looking forward to getting to the project I will be using it for.

I have not got to use this yet but after trying to cut out circles from teaching I decided this will help. I needed to add the 1/4” seam allowance, which I feel I did not do so well by hand, I believe this will make it much smoother and consistent.

Looking forward to making a circle quilt for son and family. Ruler makes multiple large size circles. Looked easy to use.

I just tried this ruler and it works great! I am so excited to work on the moon and stars quilt.
