End of Bolt Mystery Box

This is my second “end of bolt” box. I’ve enjoyed both of them. I got lots of fun fabrics. I’ve even made a Dr. Seuss quilt with some of the fabric from this box. It’s a charity quilt for Project Linus. I think the box is absolutely a good value. I will buy it again.

I posted a picture of what the box looked like when I opened it up. Plenty of prints. A few solids. I even received several pieces that came from the same fabric collection. And two pieces of Tula 💓.

Out of this entire box there was only one 7" wide WOF piece of fabric that had fun colors that I am keeping. Sadly it was the most boring dull selection of colorways for my taste. It's too bad you don't have end of bolt boxes sorted by modern, traditional, children's, etc so at least you would have a better chance of getting what you would use. Usually love MSQC items like the holiday advent box. This one didn't do it for me.

I do not have a young child in my life, and I cannot use many of these fabrics. I was so excited for this shipment, but I am now disappointed. Maybe 25 years ago these fabrics would have appealed to me, when I only sewed projects for my kids.

My first mystery box experience was excellent! It was like opening a gift on Christmas morning. Loved the variety and the various yardages. Every piece is an exciting addition to my fabric stash. I would definitely buy again if offered. Thank you!

Great variety. Very usable lengths of high quality fabric. There were only two small pieces that I don’t think I’ll use. There were a few duplicates which is good because I can use those in larger projects. The box contained much more fabric than I expected from the description……maybe 50% more. I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely order this again.

I received surprising large chunks of fabric with my largest being just shy of 2 yards. Most were .75 to .95 yards including Kaffe and Tula. I ended up setting 75% of these aside to create their own quilt since they coordinated so well. Very happy with the purchase. But wondering why the price increase.

I got some great fabrics in very usable amounts in my End of Bolt Mystery Box. I was able to piece together a cute little lap quilt, include some of the fabrics in a recent baby quilt for a niece and found some perfect matches for a memory quilt I was making with my late father's shirts. It was fun to receive, open and let my imagination run wild when my End of Bolt Mystery Box arrived.

I have ordered quite a few of the end of bolt mystery boxes. I have never been disappointed. As a fairly new quilter, I enjoy the chance to work with beautiful fabrics in smaller pieces and master a block without fear of cutting into yardage. It has helped me to gain confidence to try larger quilt projects and experiment with colour and pattern. Thank you, I will continue to purchase these boxes.

Love this.Great sizes.Lots of large pieces.Some where already cut into 10 and 5 inch pieces.Very happy to get some Tula Pink and Kaffe pieces. Definitely recommend this box .
