Grunge Basics - Black Dress Yardage

I’m a big fan of grunge fabric and this black did not disappoint! Used it in a few of my Halloween projects as I like a solid mixed in with prints. This black is very rich looking with textured appeal!

Love grunge basics! This black dress yardage is the perfect background fabric. Not quite as dark as onyx but still has interesting depth.

I find having Grunge fabric in my stash helps me with deciding on background, borders and backings.

This black fabric looks distressed, and that’s why I bought it,, . but it is not distressed. It is just printed to look that way. I’ve only used a few small pieces, but it feels wonderful. I bought a 10 yard bolt to use for two lap quilts, which will go in the same room, using different patterns of bright colors with it.

I love Grunge! This is perfect for binding a very, very scrappy quilt.

Grunge is a great blender fabric for all quilts.. I can never have enough black on hand it seems.
