Gustav Klimt Neutral Colorstory Metallic Charm Pack

Love the color combinations. Don’t usually use brown tones, but wanted to take advantage of this sale and go out of my comfort zone. Also saw a new pattern that looked interesting. Using the charm pack with layer cake pieces (I cut my own) I had fun using this simple pattern and changing the combination. The top 2 rows are pieced. What fun and the pattern was so easy.

I purchased 2 neutral Gustav Klimpt charm packs and 2 multi-color Gustav Klimpt charm packs and yardage of Gustave Klimpt gold. I envision using the charm squares as tilted tiles, using the gold as background. The fabric is beautiful, squares are cut generously, and the fabric is a heavier weight. The project will be lovely. Can’t wait! Photos later.

This fabric is striking and much more beautiful than I expected. I'm making Jenny's "Summer School" quilt using this fabric for the fish, which is perfect with its metallic gold accents that look a little like fish scales. When I chose this charm pack, I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I'm happy that I did.

These are beautiful. I have cut them for an orange peel quilt.
