It is a awkward to use and not as sharp as I anticipate

If you're in a hurry and make a mistake, this tool will undo that mistake quickly. Be very careful, because one slip of the wrist may irreparably damage your project! If you have a steady hand, this may be for you...you will still need a strategy for picking the tiny threads from the seam allowance. There is a secondary tool with a rubber (maybe silicone) end that "erases" those stubbly threads. This is hands down my favorite ripper

So easy to use and very sharp .

This seam ripper is very very sharp. It is a little different that other rippers. It works well but you need to be very careful so you do not damage your project.

I love this new seam ripper. I just wish I didn’t have to use it so much. I am able to quickly cut threads and have not had any issues with damaging fabric.
