The fabrics were of very low quality and none has the finishing borders and binding. I thought they would be part of the kit at least so you could finish the front. Not happy with it at all

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN FABRIC COLORS IN KIT AND FABRIC QUALITY. while all fabrics received are 100% cotton, they run the gambit of thin, cheap apparel cotton to heavy cotton duck. In addition, the colors I received to complete my kit are nothing like what is pictured on the front of the kit. There were not enough medium value colors to make a smooth transition between the light and dark areas , and the dark value colors were mostly black, not a color pictured or one that you would expect or want...

Extra Supplies Needed

I was annoyed a little that everything needed to start this project wasnt included. In addition to the kit, you need the fusible grid to lay everything on initially. Great method of ensuring accurate seams. Played wi5 the layout for a week or more before I was happy with it. Some of the fabrics didnt seem to work well but overall it was a project I enjoyed and would try another.

Odd mix of fabrics

I was looking forward to this kit as a fun, creative way to play with lots of colors. The fabrics I received are very different from the example. More than 1/3 of the dark blocks are black, none of the darks are reversible, twelve squares are clearly Christmas fabric, and many are childish prints. I was expecting leaves and florals. Even though there are extra squares in the kit, I don't think I have 180 to cobble together into a nice piece.

Not for me

While I believe that the kit is as described I was very disappointed with the results. The "waterfall " effect was no where near what I thought I would be. The iron on applique looks raggedy. This is probably operator error.

Was a little harder than I thought for but it did go together very well .

I have never used the grid before and that was a big help.

I bought 5 different watercolor kits. I need one more. Planning a one day Watercolor Retreat for my friends. Fabric choices are just beautiful and this is a project we can enjoy together

Christmas present

Gave this to my daughter for Christmas. She is just starting to sew and I wanted to introduce her to quilting. She loves hummingbirds and hollyhocks so this seemed like a great place to start. She has been excited to get it done!
